Like Fire

I want a love like fire.

Give me something that will ignite my senses.
Let the embers glow inside my veins.
Spread the blazing warmth from my heart to my fingertips.
I'll hold it in until it consumes me, until it burns me to ashes, until I'm nothing.
Isn't that what love is supposed to feel like?
