I Am

I am happy. My body is ecstatic from the joy that creeps from my heart to the tips of my fingers. Everywhere there is music. Everywhere there is color. Everywhere there is life.

I am afraid. In the middle of a good laugh, I hesitate. Everything has a consequence. Everything has a price. Everything has an end.

I am melancholic. Nightmares haunt me even when I'm awake. Everytime, it hurts me more. Everytime, it scars me more. Everytime, it kills me more.
